STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILTER COFFEE

Monaco suggests the following method for brewing delicious filter coffee:

• Place the pure ground coffee into the filter. Note that to make a good cup of coffee, you should not fill it too much, just 1/3 of the height of the filter.
• Use the filter press to lightly tamp down the coffee. This step allows the water to permeate slowly, blending with each tiny coffee particle.

FILTER COFFEE BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Preheat the coffee filter (phin) with hot water.
Step 2: Add 20 to 25g of pre-ground coffee into the filter (depending on your preference for strength), and press down with moderate force.
Step 3: Place the filter on top of a cup and pour 20ml of boiling water under the lid and another 20ml over the coffee grounds to steep.
Step 4: After 2 – 3 minutes, once the coffee has evenly absorbed all the water and expanded, add an additional 50 – 60ml of boiling water, cover, and wait for the coffee to extract into the cup.
Step 6: You will obtain about 30 – 40ml of coffee. You may add condensed milk or sugar, ice, stir well, and enjoy.
